Other Eligibility Requirements:

  • The scholarship is only open to self-financing candidates and is classified as non-EU for tuition fee purposes.
  • Eligible programs are limited to taught undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, where students must be based in Dublin and no part of the program is delivered by another institution.
  • All Clinical Programs are not eligible for the Global Excellence Scholarship.
  • Students progressing from the UCD International Foundation Year (IFY) to the UCD program are not eligible for the Global Excellence Scholarship.
  • Applicants to the Global Excellence Scholarship must have obtained one of the following statuses on the application for eligible programs: Offer, Conditional Offer, Accept, Conditional Accept.
  • Applications for the Global Excellence Scholarship must be submitted according to the instructions provided in the Global Excellence Scholarship Application document.
  • The Global Excellence Scholarship cannot be combined with other college scholarships.
  • This scholarship only applies to students starting a new program at UCD. Students who have already completed the program will not be considered for the Global Excellence Scholarship for that program.

 

Registration Deadline:

  • For North America (February 01): Canada, US, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam.
  • Postgraduate Deadline for South Asia (28 February) / Undergraduate Deadline 31 March: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Mauritius, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Seychelles, Réunion.
  • For Rest of the Region, the deadline is March 31: Applicants can be citizens and/or residents of any country outside the EU/EEA/Swiss Confederation.
