Xiaomi Mi 13 Pro Plus new model was exposed by the operator! Available in April at the latest

[Mobile China News] Recently, Mobile China learned from Japanese media that the existence of Xiaomi Mi 13 series derivative models was exposed on the website of British operator EE. It is reported that this model will be sold exclusively in the Japanese market.

The exposed new Xiaomi phone model is “24040RA98R” and the name is “Xiaomi 13 Pro Plus”, which is an unusual name. The model itself was spotted around December last year, but at the time it was widely believed to be the Japanese version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro. On the other hand, this time on the EE website, the model is listed under the Xiaomi brand section, not Redmi. So if EE has not mistaken the brand classification, then the name of the phone must be “Xiaomi 13 Pro Plus”.

Judging from the model name alone, this is a higher-end model of the flagship Xiaomi Mi 13 Pro last year, or at least a derivative model. In addition, since it does not have a “T” in the suffix, the chip it is equipped with is likely to be Snapdragon 8 Gen2, just like other Xiaomi Mi 13 series models.

According to Mobile China, in the Japanese market, the Xiaomi 13 series includes “13T” and “13T Pro”. Japanese media pointed out that since this “Xiaomi 13 Pro Plus” seems to have only one version, it seems likely to be an exclusive model in Japan. In addition, the first four digits of the model number are “2404”, which according to past rules indicates the time of official announcement and release. It is speculated that the mysterious Xiaomi 13 Pro Plus will most likely be officially released in April at the latest.
